In order to maximize the efficiency of the belt conveyor, reduce the waste of material and unnecessary energy loss, it is urgent to research and develop a new material high-performance roller. The roller studied in this paper will use polyurethane and glass fiber composite material as the material of the roller and bearing seat, and the roller body and bearing seat will be molded in one time. First of all, through the "GB/T990-1991 Belt Conveyor Roller Basic Parameters and Dimensions" manual and national standards to make a preliminary design and selection of the structure size of the roller, using ANSYS software to use polyurethane roller and bearing static simulation, to observe whether the maximum stress and strength of the material itself within the allowable range, and its strain risk area, the quality, strength and deformation of the metal roller are compared with the metal roller which is widely used now, and then the dynamic modal analysis of the roller as a whole is carried out by ANSYS, and the self-vibration type of the roller is obtained, and the influence on the vibration of the conveyor belt and the improvement method are analyzed.
